Please join us on Thursday June 2, 2023 at 6:30pm for the 2nd Annual Mason Forever 5K Run/Walk! The Mason FOREVER Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes youth sports and students pursuing a degree in the medical/health/fitness fields. The foundation was established in 2020 in honor of Mason Sawyer Monteleone, a Junior on the Deans List at Florida State University. He was majoring in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences when he tragically died in a car accident on August 28th, 2020.
Sports, physical health, mental health and education were core to his being. Mason played youth football for the Lewiston Porter Youth Football Club and travel soccer for the Niagara Pioneer Soccer Club. He also participated in soccer, basketball, wrestling and track while in middle school at Lewiston-Porter. He attended Canisius High School where he participated in soccer, rugby and wrestling. He was also a member of the Catholic NY State Champion Canisius High School football team. He enjoyed snowboarding, skiing, and jet skiing.
The Mason FOREVER Foundation was established to support other young people that share the same passions as Mason. We would like to thank everyone that has already donated. Your generous support keeps Mason alive in our hearts and memories by promoting the ideals that embodied him. This year the foundation will grant two scholarships to like-minded learners who are studying in the health or fitness fields. NEW FOR 2023: The race will start and finish at Marilyn Toohey Park. There will be a water station located at the midpoint and bottled water and light food/snacks will be provided at the finish line after the race.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race or until sold out. All participants who register by 5/24/23 are guaranteed to receive an official Mason Forever 5K shirt in their desired size. We will order a limited quantity of extra shirts after this date in a variety of sizes that will be made available during checkout on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone.

Team Challenge

Mail-in Registration Option
If you prefer to mail in your registration, please download the race waiver below and mail to the address shown. You must complete and mail the waiver along with your check payable to Mason FOREVER Foundation. Paper applications must be received by 5-30-23.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at Marilyn Toohey Park from 5pm until the start of the race at 6:30pm.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Hand crafted trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be presented at the awards ceremony after the race. Participants can also download custom finisher certificates from the event page and view/share finish line photos following the race!

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, shelter-in-place, limit on social gatherings, etc) we want runners to know up front that we reserve the right to reschedule the event date if needed OR convert this to a virtual event. There will be no refunds.
TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
